This is the sad, business part of baseball: Tigers unlikely to take the $13 million option on Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez’s contract. It is inevitable and necessary for the team to continue to grow and be contenders, but it will be sad. He has been a big part of the heart of the new Tigers.

I am in a tightly contested Fantasy Baseball league and trying to take the lead this week as I go head-to-head with the leader. Trying a little streaming pitcher strategy.

I am experiencing Opening Day away from my beloved Tigers, but I am not going to miss opening day–Sold-out Angels v. Rangers.
