Is Kerry Killinger Making the Wrong Bet?
Mr. Killinger seems to be putting his turn-around bet on traditional retail (branch) banking–WAMU Strategies for 2006 – The Mortgages Weblog. That sounds like a very expensive and risky turn-around strategy, considering retail banks are more prevalent than gas stations these days (every corner, grocery store, and retail store has one).
